• Strong computer skills with the ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly in a high-traffic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with truck drivers and in an industrial setting.
• Professional communication and organizational skills.
• Previous scale house, logistics, or industrial office experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Weigh inbound and outbound trucks carrying scrap metal using scale software and ensure accurate ticketing.
• Enter weight and load information into the computer system with high accuracy.
• Print and distribute scale tickets and related documentation to drivers.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with truck drivers to direct them through the weighing process.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general office communication.
• Perform basic office duties, including faxing, copying, and filing documentation.
• Maintain organized records and ensure data is entered correctly into company systems.
• Work efficiently in a busy industrial setting with frequent driver interaction.
