1.0 FTE - Day Shift

Starting Pay - $23.18 to $28.97 (based on experience)

Offers for external candidates are generally made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on experience.

Qualifications:



  • College Certificate, Associates Degree, or equivalent experience required
  • Strong Epic Revenue Cycle system knowledge
  • Excellent computer skills required
  • Medical background preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership skills and flexibility to adapt to change in environment
  • Strong understanding of insurance benefits/prior authorization requirements


Job Responsibilities:



  • Researches prior authorization issues and brings problems to resolution.
  • Updates resources with current carrier authorization requirements.
  • Steps "out of the box" by thinking creatively and brings forth new ideas and suggestions to the supervisor.
  • Creates, develops, coordinates, and implements new procedures to standardize processes throughout the department.
  • Audits procedures regarding the accurate capture and maintenance of system information as well as audits current procedures to maximize efficiency.
  • Trains and assists coworkers to follow and understand procedures
  • Active member and participant of focus groups.
  • Attends education and training seminars.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
