Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking a Senior Administrative Partner to support the SVP of IDG & ISO Marketing. This position will provide direct support to the SVP, ensuring smooth and effective organizational operations within a complex global environment. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and capability to operate well within a matrixed space to accommodate business needs. Responsibilities include managing complex calendars, expense reporting, extensive international travel arrangements, and the coordination of workshops and team activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strong in-office presence is required
  • Responsible for complex calendar management, coordinating senior level internal/external customer meetings
  • Serve as executive office gatekeeper, and demonstrate a high degree of initiative and ability to anticipate needs
  • Arrange complex, multi-leg international and domestic travel
  • Proactive tracking of all flight and ground transportation
  • Maintain travel and expense budget, and review/approve expense reports on behalf of SVP; Process expense reports and reconciliation against statements
  • Strong understanding of company policies and tools; ability to educate executives on policy and new procedures (spend limits, city caps)
  • Facilitate business communication between members of management, staff and outside senior business contacts
  • Ability to make sound decisions with minimal direction
  • Executive e-mail management - flag, action, follow-up, respond
  • Deep understanding of organizational structure and business
  • Ability to work across GEO's
  • Ensure executive is on track to meet commitments
  • Maintains confidentiality of all sensitive or proprietary information
  • Provide mentorship to executive administrative partners
  • Assists extended team members with administrative duties as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or combined 7+ years of experience supporting senior-level business leaders in a corporate environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and tact
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Strong leadership skills & ability to challenge/push back respectfully
  • Positive, can-do attitude willing to help team and peers
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Strong attention to detail demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness of work
  • Flexibility to accommodate an ever changing, global environment with strong analytical skills to find solutions
  • Advanced Technical skills a must (MS Office 365 Suite)
