Job Summary


The Assembler I is responsible for performing a variety of assembly and production tasks to support the manufacturing of components and finished products. This role involves assembling parts, operating basic equipment, and conducting simple tests to ensure product quality. The Assembler I works under general supervision, following detailed instructions to complete both repetitive and non-repetitive tasks while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Job Responsibilities




  • Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and final products according to instructions and specifications.



  • Receive and follow work assignments from supervisors or team leads.



  • Use hand tools, bench tools, and power tools to complete assembly tasks.



  • Perform basic electrical and mechanical tests, including ground and dielectric testing.



  • Prepare materials by cutting, stripping, forming, and assembling wires and components.



  • Perform soldering and related assembly tasks, including preparing solder materials and cleaning components.



  • Load and unload materials, including contacts and conductors, for furnace brazing processes.



  • Operate equipment such as riveters, drill presses, sanders, grinders, and other production machinery.



  • Inspect work for defects and report any issues with materials or equipment.



  • Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.



  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.



  • Move materials as needed to support production processes.




Job Requirements




  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.



  • Ability to work scheduled hours and meet production demands.



  • Basic understanding of manufacturing or assembly processes preferred.



  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform tasks with accuracy.



  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.



  • Ability to use hand tools and operate basic production equipment.
