Are you ready to make a significant impact on the reliability and efficiency of critical search infrastructure? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at the forefront of enhancing core systems. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and elevating the client's Search Log Quality systems, directly contributing to either robust API development or essential quality control initiatives. You will be instrumental in bridging current capacity gaps, driving automation, and standardizing solutions for an expanding scope of work, ensuring the continued excellence of a vital search infrastructure. Your contributions will directly influence the quality and performance of widely used services, working alongside a talented team dedicated to innovation and continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities:**

* Perform first-level triage and troubleshoot errors arising from data quality issues and internal tools.

* Integrate and validate AI tools into existing solutions, ensuring correct responses before deployment.

* Execute code migrations and restructure existing code to reduce technical debt and improve system efficiency.

* Contribute to system monitoring, alerting, and overall quality assurance for search logging APIs.

* Maintain logging infrastructure health and resolve visual element ownership issues.

* Analyze documentation gaps and contribute to improving system documentation.

* Work within a shared codebase, ensuring consistency and quality across both API and quality control functions.

**Required Qualifications:**

* Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience.

* Strong proficiency in SQL.

* At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Go (Golang).

* Proficiency in at least one additional main programming language such as C++, Java, or Kotlin.

* Applied or academic experience with algorithms and data structures (minimum 2 years).

* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for production issues.

* Resourceful problem-solver in high-velocity environments.

* Proactive mindset with enthusiasm for learning new technologies and internal tools.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable practical professional experience.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience with distributed systems.

* Familiarity with RPC infrastructure, multi-threading, and asynchronous programming.
