Chef - Wicked Good - Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Schedule staff, both kitchen and dish room, create daily specials menu.
• Calculation of inventory requirements.
• Oversee cleanliness of kitchen, refrigeration, dish room and all other kitchen support areas.
• Communication with front of house staff.
• Ordering of all food and supplies needed, as well as costs.
• Hiring, firing and supervision of necessary personnel.
• Knowledge and compliance of all RI food codes and HACCP laws.
• Ensure wait staff and kitchen staff fully understand all items for sale each day, while ensuring security of kitchen after hours.
• Ensure all items leaving kitchen are charged for or brought to the Food Service General Kitchen Manager's attention.
• Responsible for kitchen and all support staff during all hours of operation.

Working Conditions:

• Kitchen area, and casino floor.
• Working in moderate to loud noise levels in kitchen areas, as well as moving through the casino floor.
• May be exposed to smoke, and odors.
• Environment may be hot, cold, wet, humid or loud for long periods of time.
• Working with others and independently.

Target Salary Range: $58,000

Must secure appropriate RI mandated gaming licenses.
Minimum 5 years' experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant, creating high quality food products.
Culinary degree preferred.
Continuous walking, talking, bending, and reaching during operating hours
Frequently testing food to ensure it is up to standard.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (preferred)
