Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

The Sr. Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and delivering solutions across complex ERP environments and integrated enterprise platforms such as Salesforce. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and quality organizations to translate business needs into well-defined requirements and scalable system solutions.

The position combines systems analysis, business analysis, product ownership, and technical product ownership, with accountability for guiding development teams and ensuring quality delivery through structured QA and UAT execution.

Position Responsibilities:

Systems & Business Analysis

  • Analyze and support complex ERP systems (e.g., RentalMan, Oracle, etc) and related enterprise platforms, including Salesforce.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and system behaviors.
  • Document current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) processes, system flows, and data interactions. (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Lucid, etc.)
  • Assess cross-system impacts, dependencies, and risks for proposed changes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on system capabilities, constraints, and integration points.

Product Ownership & Technical Leadership

  • Act as Product Owner / Technical Product Owner for assigned initiatives and system components.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, including epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize work based on business value, technical complexity, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
  • Provide ongoing guidance to technical teams, clarifying requirements, validating design decisions, and supporting implementation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

ERP, Salesforce & Integration Collaboration

  • Partner with architects, developers, and platform teams to ensure alignment across ERP modules, Salesforce configurations, and integrated systems.
  • Support the design and documentation of integrations, data flows, and business rules across enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure consistency and integrity of data and processes across systems.

QA & UAT Leadership

  • Define, coordinate, and support QA and UAT activities for system enhancements and releases.
  • Review and validate test plans, test cases, and execution results to ensure requirements are fully tested.
  • Lead or support User Acceptance Testing, including test scenario development, execution coordination, defect triage, and business sign-off.
  • Ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria and are production-ready prior to release.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree related to Computer Engineering, Business or equivalent experience
  • 7 + years of experience in Systems Analysis, Business Analysis, or Technical Product Ownership within enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with complex ERP systems (e.g., RentalMan, Oracle,etc).
  • Bachelor's degree related to Design, Computer Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience writing functional user and technical stories and working in Agile sprint and increment models
  • Knowledge and practice of core principles of Agile methodology and development practices including Scrum, Kanban, Lean software development, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in using tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Adept at working alongside experience designers in early-stage concept development
  • Knowledge of enterprise integrations, APIs, middleware, or data platforms.
  • Track record of successfully translating business-to-technical requirements
  • Passion for identifying and solving real consumer and business problems, and proven ability to prioritize high value opportunities to deliver to market
  • Comfortable working autonomously with a strong focus on execution and driving deadlines to completion
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines; must be proactive and able to multi-task
  • Rental, Logistics, Retail or Supply Chain industry experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Salesforce and integrated enterprise platforms.
  • Experience in large, matrixed corporate environments.
  • Relevant certifications (ERP or Salesforce certifications).

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind, or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. Base Pay Range: $98,573.00 - 135,537.60
