Supply Chain Specialist

Summary: The Supply Chain Specialist assists in the coordination of all customer product requirements including entering sales orders, contract pricing, rebate schemes, sales reports. They will act as a liaison with customers and provide information, answer questions and resolve problems that our customers may face.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Receive and process incoming orders. Handle order revisions, cancellations, product returns or exchanges.
• Communicate with customers and sales staff about orders, delivery dates and any changes.
• Update sales forecast volumes and prices to ensure accurate forecasts.
• Maintain accurate spreadsheets with customer order information.
• Organize customer files and pertinent information.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Excel, word, power point)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-year College Degree
• Previous experience in Sales, Supply Chain, and/or Customer Service.
• Proven ability to create and maintain positive customer relationships.

Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment: Occasionally exposed to cold, heat, wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, chemicals, outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
