Warehouse Clerk/ Demand Planner

Job Description:

The Boart Longyear Supply Chain department is seeking a Warehouse Clerk / Demand Planner in Drilling Services to assist the Supply Chain Manager in tasks related to inventory control & warehouse management such as receiving, cycle counting shipping & receiving. Other duties include performing customer service activities related to our field operations team.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in inventory control and warehouse management
• Forklift experience preferred
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Good command of English both oral and written
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Continuous Improvement mindset
• Willing and able to adapt to environment when work requirements change

Responsibilities

• Daily cycle counting
• Inventory reconciliation
• Order pull / process
• EAM orders
• IR orders
• Move orders
• Discrete job orders
• Expense orders
• S02P orders
• Purchase order receipts
• Warehouse optimization
• Process adherence and improvement
• Coordination of inbound, outbound freight
• Small parcel shipping
• Participate in 5s, safety activities
• Create standard processes and train local staff
• Root cause analysis and correction
