Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors What You'll Be Doing
- Lead medium to large-scale projects focused on:
- Cost reduction
- New product development
- Process improvements
- Provide hands-on technical support on the production floor
- Observe issues directly on the line
- Troubleshoot with cross-functional teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities as an "owner of the business"
- Launch and lead process improvement projects
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet plant goals
- Conduct and support root cause failure analysis (RCFA) to resolve process issues
- Apply and lead use of Lean, Six Sigma, DOE, and statistical process control tools
- Monitor and audit process control systems and initiatives
- Coach and train production operators on:
- Process control techniques
- Equipment capabilities
- Best practices
- Support plant safety initiatives
- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments
- Act as a quality and customer advocate
- Develop and revise raw material specifications
- Support overall value stream operations and integrated projects

What Will Make You Successful Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (required)
- Preferred: Metallurgy, Chemical, or Chemistry Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with process improvement methodologies:
- Lean
- Six Sigma
- Statistical process control
- Ability to analyze complex data and implement solutions
- Comfortable working with technical systems and software
