The Nurse Manager partners with clinical leadership and operational teams to support both daily program performance and long-term growth.
Responsibilities include: *Fosters a culture of clinical excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care. *Represents Home Hospital nursing leadership across system-wide forums and committees. *Conducts performance evaluations and support staff development, coaching, and mentorship. *Ensures clinical practice compliance through quality monitoring, audits, and ongoing education. *Leads team meetings and drives process improvement initiatives while maintaining strong team communication. *Partners in the design, implementation, and evaluation of evolving workflows and care pathways. *Leads and supports change management efforts as the program continues to grow and scale. *Manages staffing schedules to ensure balanced coverage and operational efficiency. *Monitors budgets, position control, and contributes to workforce planning strategies. *Collaborates with nursing supervisors and interdisciplinary stakeholders to optimize daily operations and patient throughput. *Participates in labor-management discussions and union-related processes.
