The Regional Security Manager will lead and oversee all physical security operations across the Americas (AMERS & LATAM) for a key client account. This role is responsible for delivering a consistent, compliant, and risk-based security programme aligned to global standards.

Acting as the regional subject matter expert, the role will drive operational excellence across multiple sites and jurisdictions, ensuring the protection of people, assets, and reputation through robust security governance, technology management, and stakeholder engagement.

This role is critical in ensuring continuity of security leadership across the Americas while maintaining operational resilience and regulatory compliance.

Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift

Here is some of what you'll do:

  • Security Operations & Risk Management Lead day-to-day security operations across regional sites (New York, Houston, San Francisco, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia), delivering risk assessments (remote and on-site), implementing mitigation strategies, monitoring threat landscapes, managing incidents and investigations with root cause analysis, and providing strategic oversight for business continuity, emergency response planning, crisis protocol activation, corporate events, executive protection, and travel risk management.
  • Physical Security Systems & Technology Lead and optimise physical security systems including Lenel access control, CCTV, and alarm monitoring, overseeing system lifecycle management, maintenance programmes, performance optimisation, access control database governance, preventative maintenance and break-fix activities across multiple time zones, and providing oversight for design, upgrade, and implementation of security technologies and infrastructure.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Adherence Ensure full compliance with Global Security Operating Standards (GSOS), regulatory requirements across the Americas and Latin America, client policies, and contractual obligations (MSA/SLAs), conducting annual site audits and security gap assessments, driving remediation programmes, and managing dispensations to ensure closure of identified control gaps.
  • Reporting & Performance Management Deliver accurate reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics to support decision-making, conduct vendor performance reviews with KPI tracking, and ensure timely incident reporting and implementation of corrective actions in accordance with defined escalation procedures.
  • Vendor & Project Management Lead management of third-party vendors including VARs, ensuring performance, compliance, cost efficiency, and contract governance, while driving and delivering security projects from initiation through completion such as system upgrades and site enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership Act as primary regional security advisor to client stakeholders, build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners (Facilities, HR, Technology), and liaise with local law enforcement, emergency services, and external agencies to ensure consistent communication and delivery of security initiatives across all sites.
  • Leadership & Team Development Lead and develop a geographically dispersed, multicultural security team, driving a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and performance management while promoting a proactive, risk-aware security culture across the account.
  • Training & Capability Enhancement Identify and deliver training and awareness programmes to enhance team capability and embed security awareness throughout the organization.

Here is who we are looking for:

  • Professional Experience 5+ years leading security operations within corporate or multi-site environments, with demonstrated experience operating in regional or global roles within matrixed organisations.
  • Technical Security Expertise Strong expertise in physical security systems including Lenel access control, CCTV, electronic security systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and security reporting tools.
  • Risk Management & Compliance Strong background in physical security systems, risk management, and regulatory compliance, with ability to identify threats and implement effective controls aligned to business objectives.
  • Vendor & Project Leadership Proven experience managing third-party vendors, delivering security projects from initiation to completion, and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Leadership & Team Development Demonstrated ability to inspire geographically dispersed teams, drive accountability, and execute with excellence while promoting high-performance culture.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking Capable of aligning security programmes to business objectives through strategic planning, risk assessment, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Builds strong, credible relationships across cultures and seniority levels with clear, concise, and confident communication at all organizational levels.
  • Professional Certification Professional security certification (e.g., ASIS CPP) desirable.

Estimated compensation for this position:

100,000.00 - 110,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
