Administrative Coordinator - Transportation Parking

Summary:

Oversees daily operations of shuttle services and parking enforcement to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused transportation across UNC Health facilities.

Evening 3 p.m.-12:30 a.m. (Monday-Friday)/8 a.m-6:30 pm Friday-Tuesday

Responsibilities:

• Provides oversight of shuttle drivers and parking enforcement staff to ensure effective daily operations and appropriate staffing coverage.
• Manages shuttle services to ensure safe, timely, and reliable transportation; monitors routes, addresses delays, and ensures vehicle safety compliance.
• Oversees parking enforcement activities, ensuring consistent application of parking policies and availability of designated spaces.
• Promotes excellent customer service by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring positive interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Supervises staff performance, provides coaching and feedback, and ensures compliance with departmental policies and training requirements.
• Ensures adherence to safety standards, investigates incidents, and implements corrective actions as needed.
• Maintains communication with leadership, Police/Security, and hospital departments to support operations and address concerns.
• Prepares reports and identifies opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and enhanced service delivery.

Education Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
* Three (3) years of clerical or administrative experience.
* If Bachelor's degree, one (1) year ofclerical or administrative experience.
* If Associate's degree, two (2)years of clerical or administrative experience.
