What the Ideal Candidate will do:

• Assists with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close.
• Prepares monthly journal entries.
• Responsible for account analysis. Maintains fixed asset ledger and depreciation schedule.
• Prepares daily bank activities and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Responsible for various state sales tax returns, state registrations and annual reports.
• Assists with quarterly government census reports.
• Records financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accruals.
• Assists with annual external audit.

• Must be a US Person.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1 - 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have a working knowledge of US GAAP, journal entries and account analysis.
• Must have the ability to solve practical problems and analyze financial data.
• Must possess strong organization, communication, math, and computer skills - Microsoft Suite with intermediate/advanced Excel skills. MRP/ERP experience is a plus.SAP preferred.
• Must be available first and last 3 days of every month due to monthly/quarterly/year-end close.
• Some experience in a manufacturing or service environment preferred.
