Position Type: Full & Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.27 / Hour - Weekly Pay

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to restricted areas at an aerospace and defense location by verifying credentials, issuing and collecting visitor authorization, and directing arrivals to proper check-in points.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and other security-related systems; document activity and communicate unusual conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, and unauthorized entry attempts, and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
