As a Security Officer Corporate Patrol in East Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, following post orders and reporting security-related concerns or policy deviations.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations related to equipment issues, access concerns, and/or other security-related matters to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
