KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Strategic Occupancy Planning to join our Corporate Real Estate team.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end occupancy analytics, including attendance trends, seat utilization patterns, and space demand analysis across locations, job levels, and service lines, delivering actionable insights to guide real estate decisions
  • Develop and maintain forecasting and scenario models that translate headcount projections and utilization assumptions into seat demand and space requirement ranges, supporting long-range portfolio planning and site-specific business cases
  • Produce, quality-assure, and deliver recurring occupancy reports and dashboards on a defined cadence, providing clear executive-level narratives that articulate trends, implications, and recommended actions
  • Champion the use of AI and PowerBI to modernize occupancy planning workflows by automating reporting, enhancing forecasting , and improving speed, consistency, and self-service access to insights
  • Serve as the primary Real Estate Services (RES) liaison for occupancy sensor platforms and vendors, overseeing data quality, reconciliation, enhancement requests, and the integration of sensor insights into planning standards and dashboards
  • Define and document standardized metrics, assumptions, planning logic; ensure responsible data governance; and partner closely with RES leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate insights into real estate actions
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum three years of recent experience in analytics, corporate real estate, workplace strategy, space planning, business intelligence, or a related analytical role
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in analytics, business, finance, real estate, engineering, statistics, data science, or a related field is preferred or three years of equivalent experience; Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required
  • Advanced Excel expertise, including complex modeling, Power Query, automation, data quality validation, and preparing data for AI consumption
  • Advanced Power BI skills, including data modeling, dashboard design, and publishing/governance practices
  • Proven ability to analyze large, complex datasets and deliver concise, executive-ready insights and recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical analyses into clear business narratives
