UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a BE/BC Interventional Radiologist to join a rapidly expanding IR program in Rockford at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital, a 350-bed tertiary care Level II trauma center with a state-of-the-art dedicated heart hospital.

This opportunity, as part of a physician led multispecialty practice with more than 370 providers and 40 specialties, offers the chance to join a highly collaborative, high-volume service with strong institutional support and significant program growth ahead. With increasing procedural demand and continued program expansion, this physician will play an important role in improving patient access and helping grow the scope of interventional services.

Your clinical support includes the following:
* Full spectrum of common and high-end interventional procedures
* Established and rapidly growing Interventional Radiology program with strong institutional investment and support
* Options for 100% IR or IR/DR with participation in diagnostic imaging for premium compensation
* Strong procedural team with experienced IR nurses, schedulers, and technical staff
* Collaborative staff performing case preparation, chart prep, scheduling, and lab review
* Efficient workflow that allows providers to move seamlessly between cases allowing for extremely low intraprocedural down times
* Advanced technology environment including AI-supported diagnostic imaging tools and MIMS dosimetry
* Multiple IR rooms and exceptional CT and US availability with full technical support
* Plans for future IR clinic development and expanded service space and expanded ancillary staff
* Collaborative environment within UW Health, providing access to specialty colleagues and a strong regional referral base
* 1:4 exclusive IR-only call

Qualifications
* MD or DO
* Board Eligible or Board Certified in IR/DR
* Ability to obtain an Illinois medical license
* Full interventional radiology skill set preferred; mentorship and procedural proctoring available for select procedures

- $700,000 - $780,000
