The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $76,400 - $95,500 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do in this Role:

  • Design and create engaging e-learning course content using authoring tools such as RISE, Storyline, and other Articulate tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers and other stakeholders to transform course content into learning experiences.
  • Use multimedia technology and authoring tools to build innovative and engaging e-learning content. Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is a plus.
  • Conduct instructional research and needs analysis
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
  • Design and develop exercises and activities that improve the learning process
  • Develop supporting multimedia material (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.)
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews on courses and implement improvements as needed
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology (minimum 3 years)
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models, including ADDIE.
  • Experience with learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
  • Intermediate e learning programming knowledge
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • Ability to storyboard and visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product

What We are Looking For:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in e-learning development, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a global environment dealing with multiple cultures is preferred.
  • BS or MA degree in related field (instructional design, educational technology, education) or equivalent experience and education.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary, but is not guaranteed.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write Chinese is a plus, but not required.
  • English proficiency required.
  • Ability to participate in early morning and occasional evening meetings with global partners is required.
