Job Title: Assembler/Tester B (Manufacturing) Duration: 6-11 Months Location: Moncks Corner, SC 29461 Shift: 1st (7AM - 5:30PM) Mon-Thur/ 2nd 3PM-1:30AM Mon-Thur Pay Rate: $17/hr. on w2 without benefits Job Description: With minimum supervision, responsible for a variety of assemble/test functions in order to meet customer delivery schedules. Role & Responsibilities: Performs basic assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment. Records test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters. Interprets blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives. Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specification. Assembles/tests to customer and/or industry standards. Actively participates in lean initiatives by identifying and providing suggestions on areas for improvement. Observes all safety rules and maintains foreign object damage (FOD) free work areas. Ensures equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedule. May perform other related responsibilities. Required Qualification: High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of general mechanical work experience preferred. May be required to lift up to 35 lbs.
