Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures and assigned security-related duties at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity, verifying permissions when appropriate, and documenting security-related issues.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and assisting with orderly incident management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
