Job Overview

The Store Environment Contract Administrator supports capital projects by coordinating and administering financial commitments in alignment with corporate contract administration standards and policies. This role plays a critical part in ensuring capital projects are executed with financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. By partnering closely with project managers, suppliers, and internal control teams, the role helps safeguard capital investments and enable successful project delivery.

What You Will Do



  • Generate and distribute capital contracts, purchase orders, expense purchase orders, and change orders in accordance with the Contract Administration Manual and corporate policies.
  • Review supplier proposals to validate cost breakdowns, scopes of work, trade code accuracy, and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Communicate required corrections or adjustments to internal partners, requestors, and external suppliers, including direct coordination with third-party vendors to resolve documentation issues.
  • Provide guidance to project managers and field personnel on proper submission of quotes and estimates for financial commitments.
  • Serve as a liaison between project teams, suppliers, and Corporate Capital Control on contract language, terms and conditions, taxes, liens, bids, and documentation requirements.
  • Build strong internal and external partnerships to support Store Environment capital initiatives.
  • Manage workload priorities while maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with corporate document retention standards.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.

Coordination: Collaborates effectively with suppliers, project teams, and store leadership to support infrastructure and customer-facing capital projects.
Financial Management: Manages budgets, financial commitments, and cost controls to ensure accurate capital accounting and fiscal discipline.
Strategic Thinking: Applies sound judgment to align contract administration activities with broader project and organizational objectives.
Problem-Solving: Analyzes complex issues, evaluates data, and implements practical solutions across multiple variables.
Communication: Delivers clear written and verbal communication and interprets technical, financial, and procedural documentation.
Workflow Management: Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks to meet deadlines and maintain operational efficiency.
Collaboration: Builds productive working relationships across departments to support seamless project execution.

Who You Are



  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
