The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering and Design team in Dallas, TX. Engineers at McKinstry are unsurpassed in their ability to combine innovative problem solving with common sense design applications. Because of our design, build, operate, and maintain (DBOM) process, McKinstry engineers concern themselves not just with the construction of a building, but how it will operate over its entire lifetime. Every design choice is made toward one goal - delivering high-performance buildings that ensure occupant comfort and safety, keep energy/operating costs low, maximize client profitability, and protect the environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the successful delivery ofvarious typesof data center projects and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and deliver best-in-class designs.
  • Lead engineering teams through projects meeting schedule, scope, budget, and expectations.
  • Monthly track project performance.
  • Participate in all phases of project planning and execution to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals that align scopes of work with client needs and budgets.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with customers to support project and business success.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Ten (10)years' experience.
  • Professional Engineering License, NCEES Multi-State License.
  • Bachelor's degree inan engineeringdiscipline required or equivalent work experiencerequired. Onsite construction experience considered and welcome.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Revit preferred. Knowledge of other CAD/BIM toolswelcome.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, VBA, Python, InDesign, IES-VE, and/or other software toolswelcome.

The pay range for this position is $120,510 - $204,900 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
