Material Handler

Brunswick is currently looking for a long term Material Handler. This position does not pay perdiem and does not have any relocation fees. Brunswick is located in Southport, NC.

In this position you will be responsible to perform duties of general support as assigned by Westinghouse and the client while on the plant site. Assignments could include fire watch, sensitive equipment monitor, emp-center admin or any other plant need position.

Education / Training Requirements

* High School Diploma with some college preferred

* Meet all applicable requirements to maintain unescorted access

* Pass initial and annual Radiation Worker Training

Minimum Skill Requirements and Accountabilities

* Meet all applicable requirements to maintain unescorted access

* Safe use and proper operation of applicable equipment

* Participate in Pre-Job Briefs

* Use and adhere to station policies and procedures.

* Effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, Supervisors and Sponsors to ensure Safe and Quality job completion for all assignments

* Ability to understand and follow oral and written communications, technical requirements, procedures and directives associated with working at a nuclear plant

* Ability to climb and work in adverse conditions such as high temperature areas, confined spaces, and heights.

* Able to lift 50 pounds

* May be assigned additional responsibilities as needed by the client

* Strong understanding of the potential issues, lessons learned and industry standards for work that you will be supporting.

* Working knowledge of the plants systems, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
