About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Computer Operator IV to join us

Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Computer Operator IV is a senior-level practitioner responsible for the advanced operation, monitoring, and administration of TSA's enterprise computing systems, including data center infrastructure, server platforms, and operational systems supporting TSA's mission-critical environment.
  • This individual applies deep operational expertise to ensure the continuous availability and performance of TSA IT systems, responds to system alerts and operational anomalies, and coordinates with engineering teams and the O&M contractor to resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • The Computer Operator IV supports TSA's 24x7x365 operational requirements and may be called upon during after-hours windows to support deployments, maintenance activities, and incident response.
  • In this role, the Computer Operator IV develops and maintains comprehensive operational procedures, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides that support consistent and reliable system operations across TSA's distributed computing environment.
  • The individual contributes to the planning and execution of system transitions under TALON task orders, participates in 14-day operational testing periods following engineering deployments, and provides operational readiness assessments that inform GO/NO-GO decisions for production releases.
  • The Computer Operator IV also mentors junior operators and provides technical input to engineering teams regarding operational feasibility and supportability of proposed solutions.


Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • A minimum of 9 years of computer operations experience in large enterprise or federal environments is required, with expert-level proficiency in data center operations, server administration, system monitoring platforms, and incident management processes.
  • Experience operating within FISMA-governed IT environments and familiarity with DHS/TSA IT policies and ITSM frameworks (e.g., ServiceNow) are expected.
  • All personnel must be U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents with the ability to obtain TSA fitness determination and PIV card access, and must be able to support shift-based or on-call operational requirements consistent with TSA's 24x7x365 mission.

Background Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.

Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen
