Solutions Engineer - Enterprise Knowledge & AI Systems (Contract)

We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to help accelerate company-wide adoption of our enterprise knowledge and AI platform. In this role, you'll help employees find trusted information faster and get more value from tools like search, agents, and automations.

As a member of the Digital Solutions team, you'll balance scalable user enablement with hands-on solution design. Day to day, that means leading trainings, supporting users, shaping high-impact requests, and helping teams understand when to use search, an agent, or an automation to solve a problem.

This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who combines technical fluency with strong stakeholder engagement skills. You should be equally comfortable running an AI 101 session for global teams, scoping a workflow automation, and helping users set realistic expectations around what AI can and cannot do. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving diverse problems, and finds energy in helping others succeed.


Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary enablement and solutioning partner for enterprise AI and knowledge platforms across the organization


  • Guide users toward practical, high-value use cases, and set clear expectations around platform capabilities, limitations, and delivery timelines
  • Lead onboarding and training sessions, including AI 101, role-based training, and agent support
  • Develop scalable enablement materials, documentation, and best practices
  • Support users with search, prompting, agents, and automations, including helping them choose the right approach for the need
  • Intake, triage, and shape custom agent and automation requests based on business needs and platform fit
  • Partner with PMO to prioritize discovery and solution design efforts
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and scoped solution briefs
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to assign and support development resources
  • Analyze usage patterns and user behavior to improve enablement strategies, content architecture, and solution design
  • Develop a deep understanding of Cirrus Logic's knowledge architecture across Confluence, Jira, GitHub, SharePoint, and related systems to improve search relevance, content quality, and discoverability
  • Partner with system owners to improve content hygiene, metadata standards, permissions models, and governance practices that directly impact AI-driven search effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Business Systems, Enterprise Applications, or a similar role
  • Experience with enterprise AI/search platforms, knowledge management platforms, and driving adoption of enterprise SaaS tools across large organizations
  • Experience designing internal productivity agents or AI-enabled workflows
  • Ability to balance enthusiasm for AI with sound judgment, clear communication, and realistic expectation-setting
  • Comfortable pushing back on poorly scoped or low-value requests and guiding stakeholders toward practical solutions
  • Familiarity with APIs, automation frameworks, and workflow tools
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements
  • Experience running discovery sessions and documenting solution designs
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Background working with IT, Digital, or Engineering teams
  • Working experience with Confluence, Jira, GitHub, and SharePoint
  • Experience measuring adoption, engagement, and ROI for enterprise tools
  • Change management or enablement experience in global organizations
  • Comfortable managing a mix of quick support needs and longer-term solution work
  • Naturally curious, self-directed, eager to continuously improve processes, and comfortable working through ambiguity
  • Experience working in queue-based support or project environments
  • Experience partnering with PMO or product teams on prioritization
