The Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving incoming parts, pulling parts for orders, and performs a variety of complicated tasks while handling unique requests and opportunities.

Job Title: Warehouse Technician

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Comp: $25-30/hour



Responsibilities

    Process incoming shipments and ensure stock levels are recorded properly
  • Pull parts and materials against production orders
  • Update ERP software for all receiving and parts pulling transactions
  • Support accuracy of inventory management system including cycle and annual inventory counts
  • Clean and organize receiving area and maintain receiving supply levels
  • Operate the vertical inventory Kardex machine
  • Be the contact person for incoming carrier correspondence
  • Assist with shipping and order preparation duties


Qualifications

  • Understanding of production orders
  • Understanding of receiving methods
  • Ability to use Microsoft products and ERP software
  • High School Diploma
  • 2 -3+ years shipping and receiving or related experience
  • Forklift experience required

Physical and Mental requirements: Being able to do the following in a safe and effective manner.

  • Climbing, ascending, and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and industrial equipment, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
  • Reaching and extending hands and arms in any direction.
  • Standing and walking for sustained periods of time.
  • Pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and stooping for sustained periods of time.
  • Using upper extremities to move objects and equipment with steady force.
  • Sometimes working in temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
