Under direct supervision of Shuttle Supervisors, the Principal Automotive Equipment Operator or Shuttle Driver will operate a variety of passenger shuttle buses throughout the City and County of San Francisco. The primary purpose of the position is to safely transport staff, faculty, and students who are required to travel between campus sites to fulfill their work and school related obligations. The drivers also support patient transportation to various UCSF clinical facilities on regular shuttles or on-demand Jitney service.
***NOTE: This is 100% Full-time role.

The Department of Transportation Services at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) provides essential transit, parking, and alternate commuter services that impact benefit nearly every member of the UCSF community, including faculty, staff, trainees, students, patients, and visitors. The Department's programs and services indirectly benefit the local communities surrounding UCSF's many campuses and facilities in terms of accessibility and community livability. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
