$18.05 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area/West Melbourne Public Library. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings and weekends. Performs entry-level paraprofessional library work assisting in the Circulation section of the library.

REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of one (1) year of college coursework at an accredited college or university [30 semester (45 quarter) hours = one (1) year];ORone (1) year of public library or customer service experience. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:When usage statistics change, library employees may be assigned to another library. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
