Application Architect

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role will be a key contributor in an Agile environment, responsible for understanding business requirements and leading the analysis and translation into technical requirements for various strategic and regulatory programs. The ideal candidate will perform complex data analysis, help design data models, and communicate effectively between technical, business, and quantitative partners.

Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and lead analysis and translation into technical requirements, budgeting and technical documentation
• Review technical requirements with the development team and ensure it meets business partners' requirements and is scalable into a longer-term strategy
• Perform complex analytical and data analysis as needed, helping to design data models and strategic solutions
• Act as a key contributor in agile routines including sprint and capacity planning, prioritization and backlog maintenance
• Review initial testing/implementation to ensure accuracy of implementation

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a business analyst working on significant technical delivery
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical, business and quantitative model partners and stakeholders
• Experience in synthesizing complex data into actionable analysis and presentations to non-technical partners
• Prior experience with Agile and JIRA
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, SQL, and Python
• Project management tools expertise
• Prior experience working in Risk technology or risk management
• Self-starter with excellent technical skills

Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24
