Resumen

The Global Accounts Specialist is responsible for the management AIT's strategic global accounts. This includes to assist with providing training to operations, stations, and the sales team on proper billing procedures as well as monitoring disputes and resolution of all barriers to payment. This will require the initiation of routine meetings with global account customers, sales teams, leadership, and freight payment agencies to ensure the accounts are maintained within terms.

This role will also assume some of the responsibilities under the purview of the Global Account Management Director and serve as a primary contact related to the accounts receivable function for Global Accounts.


Responsabilidades


    Problem Resolution and Support: key department resource and proactive problem solver in providing subject matter expertise and supporting and fulfilling billing and collections needs and requirements for key stakeholders including internal and external customers. Serve as a liaison between customers and internal departments, facilitating timely resolution of issues or escalations, therefore improving customers' DSO. Anticipates potential challenges by monitoring trends and patterns to proactively address issues to maintain customer satisfaction. Train operations and/or station management on required SOP changes to help facilitate payment.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key global accounts' stakeholders up to and including VPs, Regional Directors, Station Managers, Sales, Legal and Operations. Primary contact for leaders across the enterprise including the Director and VP of Global Account Management. Acts as primary point of contact for assigned global accounts, addressing their needs and concerns promptly by troubleshooting reported issues and seeking resolution. This role will assume some of the responsibilities under the purview of the Global Account Management Director and serve as a primary contact related to the accounts receivable function for Global Accounts. Conduct regular check-ins and meetings to understand customers' evolving requirements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare weekly status reports summarizing account performance to be distributed to management. Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement. Schedule and participate in meetings.
  • Other Responsibilities: Moderates book of accounts in addition to global accounts. Backup for Cash Applications and Credit Request teams.

Calificaciones

Education
* Associate's Degree (Required) and

* Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience
* 3+ years Collection Experience (Required) and

* 3+ years Experience in Finance and/or Accounting Field (Required) and

* 3+ years CargoWise Experience preferred (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Proficient in MS Office programs i.e.-Word, Excel, etc. High

* Experience with respectfully communicating with internal and external parties High
