As a Storage Operator II, you will serve as a critical member of our field operations team, ensuring our storage facilities, caverns, and pipelines operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards. Your work enables reliable energy delivery to customers and supports the integrity of one of North America's leading energy infrastructures. Working Conditions: Work performed in the storage facility environment includes control room HMI activities and outside facility equipment operations Occasional travel. Dynamic, high-pressure work environment requiring the identification and resolution of critical operational problems within extremely short time constraints. Employee must have the ability to remain calm and focused during an emergency to perform all job duties. Group provides 24-hour/365-day service. Work will include any combination of hours in each 24-hour period. Holiday and overtime work are required as necessary. The employee may occasionally be required to take after-hour calls and remain on site during extreme weather events. The noise levels in the storage environment ranges from moderate to hearing protection required. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. While performing the outside duties of this job, the employee is frequently balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 50 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects 50 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement. Mental Requirements: Include, but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
