Job Description

This role is an exciting opportunity to join one of our Business Intelligence teams. Initially, your primary responsibilities will be modifying and troubleshooting existing reporting solutions. As your knowledge level of our data systems and business processes grow you will have the opportunity to participate in report development and data analysis projects in support of our Supply Chain team. We are primarily a Microsoft Power BI and Excel team that works with programming and data querying languages such as SQL, DAX, R and Power Query (M).

This role is required to be on-site in Oshkosh, WI. No relocation provided.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Hours: 20-40 hours per week
  • Independently driven and motivated to grow and achieve excellence
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to delivering high quality work
  • Extremely accurate with the ability to follow instructions
  • Actively in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree (degrees in Business or Technology preferred)
  • Intermediate to strong Excel skills
  • Familiarity with MS Power Query
  • Ability to build presentations in PowerPoint
  • Prefer experience with Business Intelligence, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Demand Planning or related education
  • SAP software experience is a plus

Compensation:

  • $20-$21/hour based on year in school

What You'll Do:

  • Learn and gain exposure to global packaging manufacturing industry

  • Participate as a multidisciplinary member of various cross functional teams

  • Take leadership over at least one critical project

  • Assess and identify improvement opportunities in an analytical way

  • Assist with the standardization of key process related to procurement

  • Work with other functional teams such as IT and operations.

  • Will interface with external customers and suppliers to collect data and implement standardization.

  • Challenge the status quo to improve and / or design new processes

  • Analyze and size both quantitative and qualitative impact of proposed improvement

  • Facilitate the integration with existing Amcor technology platforms and any new designed analytical tools

What We Require:

  • Actively enrolled in Sophomore year of higher in a Bachelors Program in a technical field of study such as Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Supply Chain or Procurement.

  • Previous internship experience preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills and interest in process improvement

  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills

  • Working knowledge of computer application software (training will be provided if needed)

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in teams

  • High attention to detail

  • Proficiency in modern desktop office software applications
