The Payer Value Demonstration Manager will evaluate a product's market access strategy and available evidence to design a narrative of value to support coverage submission worldwide. This evidence-based payer value proposition will guide the redaction of a global value dossier (GVD), substantiating medical and economic value in different populations for coverage. This role will create payer engagement materials such as GVD, GVD executive summary and payer engagement presentations. This role will educate the local market access teams across the world on how to use this material for local HTA or reimbursement submissions.
This position is a key collaborator with the Global Market Access Strategy and Payer Policy Evidence Assessment team in ensuring an evidenced-based substantiated payer narrative. In addition, this role supports directly the local reimbursement efforts.
This role is an integral local support to accelerate or solidify local reimbursement of bioMerieux products.
Primary Duties
Evidence-based Payer Value Proposition
- Design and refine Payer value propositions, value statements, unique to the population in which coverage is sought, together with Global Market Access Strategy and Payer Policy Evidence Assessment team members.
- Consult and familiarize with curated evidence, literature review and evidence generation plan
Redaction of Payer Engagement Material
- Redact Global Value Dossier and executive summary
- Create convincing payer engagement presentations
- Seek comments and reviews from internal stakeholders, obtain necessary approvals before material finalization
- Ensure continuity of the market access strategy in the payer engagement material
Communication and Education
- Educate and socialize material to local market access experts to help inform local reimbursement submissions
- Gather feedback from local teams on tools provided by global market access and create objection handling documents to further advance the value narrative with payers
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support of local team into reimbursement submissions
- Engage with Global Market Access and Medical Affairs team
- Be creative and engaged on how innovative tools and approaches can best support reimbursement and bundled payments globally
Innovation & Thought Leadership
- Stay abreast of emerging methodologies, tools, and regulatory trends.
- Champion innovative approaches to payer value demonstration that enhance the global reimbursement landscape.
- Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education, Training and Experience
- Master's degree required in Science, Public Health, Health Economics, or equivalent fields
- 5+ years of professional related experience defined below
- Experience developing payer value propositions, economic models, and reimbursement strategies for diagnostic products.
- Strong understanding of HTA processes, payer decision drivers, and reimbursement pathways across key markets
- Medical writing or scientific communication experience
- Proven expertise through publications
Preferred Education, Training and Experience
- Diagnostic or medical device industry experience preferred

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Domestic travel required: 15%
- International travel required: 10%
- Total travel: 25%
The estimated salary range for this role is between $140,000 - $185,000. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux's bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate's experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
