This is a full-time temporary role, 40 hours / week.
We are seeking a skilled and organized Full-Time Marketing Blog Writer to support the development and publication of high-quality blog content over a 6-month period. This role combines strong writing and editing skills with moderate project management responsibilities to ensure a consistent
flow of content from concept through publication.
The writer will collaborate with marketing leadership and academic subject matter experts to plan, develop, edit, and publish blogs that support institutional marketing goals. The position requires someone who can move projects forward efficiently, coordinate feedback from multiple stakeholders, and leverage modern writing and editing technologies to streamline the content
development process.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with marketing leadership to plan and maintain a blog content calendar aligned
with strategic priorities.
Research, write, and edit blog content that supports marketing and thought leadership
objectives.
Leverage SEO planning tools to for keyword research, competitive assessment, and databased
decision making to optimize organic search (we will train as needed).
Work with academic leaders and subject matter experts to develop accurate, engaging
content.
Use writing and editing technologies to improve efficiency while maintaining quality and voice
consistency.
Manage the blog development process from initial concept through final approval.
Coordinate feedback and revisions with internal stakeholders.
Ensure content meets brand, editorial, and quality standards.
Partner with the website team to prepare and publish blog content.
Track project timelines to ensure blogs move through review and approval stages efficiently.

Qualifications
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and accurate
content.
Experience writing blog content, marketing content, or editorial content.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
Comfort working with subject matter experts and translating complex topics into accessible
content.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with content management systems and digital publishing workflows is preferred.
Experience using AI-assisted writing or editing tools to support content production is a plus.

Preferred Experience (not required)
Background in higher education, healthcare, or professional education content.
Experience managing editorial calendars or content pipelines.
Understanding of SEO principles for blog content.

Work Environment
This is a full-time contract role expected to run for approximately 6 months with the option to
extend at 40 hours per week. The role works closely with the marketing team and internal subject
matter experts and requires strong coordination across multiple stakeholders. This role is remote,
but if located in the Boston area, you are welcome to work on campus.
