Requisition ID req36305 Working Title Genetic Counselor Position Grade 14 Position Summary **The department will offer up to $7,000.00 moving reimbursement if needed.** The University of New Mexico Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Genetics, is seeking a full time Genetic Counselor to join the genetics team. The Division provides the full range of genetic services to children and adults, conducting genetics and metabolic clinics in Albuquerque and at outreach clinics throughout New Mexico. The division performs inpatient consults at UNM Children's Hospital. UNM's Division of Pediatric Genetics is committed to providing the children of New Mexico with comprehensive genetic healthcare that is unequaled in the state and region. By the start date of employment, the successful candidate must have a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling (or equivalent thereof) from an accredited program, board eligibility or certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and must be eligible and apply for licensure in Genetic Counseling in the State of New Mexico.
