Requisition ID req36315 Working Title Neurosciences Data Specialist Position Grade 14 Position Summary This position is a term appointment ending 6/30/28, subject to availability of additional funding. Due to budgetary constraints, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The UNM Health Sciences Library & Informatics Center and School of Medicine's Department of Neuroscience are looking for someone innovative with experience in data curation and data science, who is excited to advance our understanding of the brain by building more robust data analytic pipelines. The Department of Neurosciences works with numerous types of clinical and preclinical data, including: EEG, electrophysiology, microscopy, and OMICs datasets. The successful candidate will work closely with Neurosciences researchers to develop innovative solutions for research data management, curation, and sharing. The candidate will use tools such as SQL, Python, and GitHub to create and maintain novel solutions for data curation, organization, and dissemination to support cutting-edge research.
