As a Quality Engineer, you will provide focused quality engineering support within manufacturing, systems and services, and materials functions. You will develop and maintain quality engineering methodologies, systems and practices that meet Boston Scientific, customer and regulatory requirements. This role serves as a key quality representative, driving awareness, communication and execution of quality initiatives across the Urology, Oncology and Endo-Surgery business units and other supported areas. Work model, sponsorship, relocation: This role is on-site at our Johns Creek, Georgia, facility. Your responsibilities will include: * Develop, coordinate and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations, including design of experiments (DOE) * Recommend design and test methods, including statistical process control procedures, to achieve product reliability targets * Compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics to identify variables impacting products and processes * Ensure corrective and preventive actions meet acceptable reliability and quality standards * Develop and implement reliability engineering programs aligned with company, customer and regulatory requirements * Create mathematical models, as needed, to identify units, batches or processes with elevated failure risk * Propose design or process changes to improve system and product reliability * Utilize statistical analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies to evaluate process capability and product acceptance * Identify, prioritize and resolve quality issues using systematic problem-solving approaches * Participate in product review boards and lead investigations into nonconformance trends and customer or internal complaints * Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives across supported business units * Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and Boston Scientific Environmental, Health and Safety standards Qualifications: Required qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field * Minimum of 1 years' experience in quality, manufacturing or engineering roles * Basic knowledge of quality engineering principles, statistical analysis and problem-solving methodologies * Familiarity with reliability engineering concepts and tools, including DOE and statistical process control * Ability to analyze data, interpret results and communicate findings effectively * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently with guidance from senior team members Preferred qualifications: * Experience supporting medical device or regulated industry environments * Knowledge of FDA, ISO or other regulatory standards * Experience with quality systems, nonconformance investigation and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) * Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma Requisition ID:626228 Minimum Salary:$59900 Maximum Salary: $113800 The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com-will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role.
