Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist. The TA Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle in support of the organization's hiring needs within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This role requires demonstrated experience operating a full recruitment desk, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates. The incumbent will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality talent aligned with business objectives and growth initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for assigned requisitions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer facilitation.
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate evaluations to assess qualifications, technical competencies, and organizational fit.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies utilizing applicant tracking systems, resume databases, professional networks, industry associations, referrals, and competitive market research.
  • Establish and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates, including passive talent, to support current and future workforce requirements.
  • Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand staffing needs, workforce planning objectives, and project-based hiring demands.
  • Provide consultative support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including market insights, candidate feedback, and hiring recommendations.
  • Ensure a professional and consistent candidate experience, maintaining timely communication and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and contribute to the continuous improvement of talent acquisition processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline
    • Or, non-degree holders must possess a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field, with a demonstrated commitment to continued professional development.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition/recruitment, including:
    • At least 2 years of recruiting experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
    • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment (full desk)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AEC industry roles, labor market conditions, and talent sourcing strategies.
  • Strong ability to build effective working relationships and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS); iCIMS experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
