Job Description

Visa isseekinga passionate, authentic, andresults orientedleader to join theFinance AI Acceleration Officeas aDirector, reporting to a SeniorDirector. TheFinance AI Acceleration Officeis responsible foraccelerating the adoption and scaling of AI across Finance,embedding AI into everyday work, transformingend-to-endFinance processes, and enabling measurable productivity,decisionquality, and control improvements in a secure and governed manner.

This role will play a critical leadership position in shaping and executing Finance's AI strategy, moving the organization fromlocal experimentation toenterprise scale, agentic AI solutionsacross core Finance processes such as Source-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, FP&A, and Contracting. The Director will partner closely with Finance, Technology, and Transformation leaders to ensure AI investments are prioritized, governed, delivered, and scaled for sustained impact.

The Finance AI Acceleration Officeoperatesas a bridge between Finance, Technology, and the broader Finance Velocity Office,driving intentional process redesign, disciplined execution, and change adoption to realize the full value of AI in Finance.

Key Responsibilities and Success Criteria

AI Strategy & Roadmap Execution

  • Own and execute the Finance AI roadmap aligned to the enterprise Finance AI strategy, ensuring clear prioritization forenterprise and orchestration agents.
  • Translate Finance strategic priorities into a sequenced portfolio of AI initiatives with defined outcomes, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Lead the transition fromproofofconceptsolutions to industrialized, scalable AI capabilities embedded within Finance systems and processes.

Portfolio & Product Leadership

  • Provideendtoendownership of a portfolio of AI initiatives, including business case development, value realization, delivery oversight, and benefits tracking.
  • Establish and enforce clear product ownership models, operating rhythms, and delivery standards for Finance AI use cases.
  • Drive disciplined intake, evaluation, and prioritization of AI ideas,partnering closely withTechnology to ensure we arebalancing speed of experimentation with architectural integrity andlong-termscalability.

Operating Model, Governance & Risk

  • Partner with Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure AI solutions meet enterprise standards for security, data, model governance, and human-in-the-loop controls.
  • Help define and operationalize the Finance AI operating model, including stage gates, guardrails, and architectural alignment.
  • Serve as a thought partner to Finance leadership on responsible AI adoption andriskawarescaling.

CrossFunctional Leadership & Influence

  • Act as a senior connector across Finance, IT, and Transformation teams,aligning stakeholders around shared outcomes and execution priorities.
  • Influence without authority in a highly matrixed environment, using data, structured narratives, and domainexpertiseto drive decisions.
  • Facilitateexecutivelevelforums toalign onAI strategy, investment tradeoffs, and progress against outcomes.

Talent, Adoption & Change

  • Build and sustain AI capability within Finance through enablement models such as citizen developer cohorts, reusable templates, and playbooks.
  • Champion adoption and change management to ensure AI solutions are embedded into day-to-day workflows and deliver realized value.
  • Contribute to developing the long-term talent and capacity modelrequiredto scale Finance AI.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience with aBachelor'sdegree, or 8+ years with an advanced degree (MBA, Master's, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience applying AI, automation, and advanced analytics to transform Finance processes at scale.
  • Proven experience executing largescale Finance or enterprise transformations, with domain depth in areas such as Order-to-CashorRecord-to-Report

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • MBAstronglypreferred.
  • Financial Services and/or Technology Consulting experience.
  • Experience standing up and operating AI or digital transformation programs, including governance, prioritization, and value tracking.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, andexecutivepresenceskills in global, matrixed environments.

Location(s): Preferred locations for CS roles include - Miami, Atlanta, Austin & Ashburn

Travel Requirements:This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 192,300.00 to 307,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
