Rantec Microwave Systems has an immediate opening for a JR. ASSEMBLER For the Night Shift. JOB DUTIES: Rantec will train an Entry Level Assembler to: Assemble Aerospace products that are compliant with drawings, written specifications, customer requirements, etc. Perform tasks and duties as required in a variety of departments to aid in manufacturing of components. REQUIREMENTS: Fine motor skills and dexterity are required to properly assemble components. Must be comfortable working with special adhesives, application syringes and dispensers. Must have a working understanding of basic precision hand tools, ie, wrenches, screwdrivers, precision punches, special hammers or mallets, etc. Must have the ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical assembly work instructions. * Ability to obtain a Security Clearance to perform duties associated with this position. This is an absolute requirement. EXPERIENCE: Should have general experience working with small Mechanical Projects; Work, School or Hobby. Be prepared to answer questions regarding previous Mechanical Projects and what you were able to accomplish. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and handle approximately 20 pounds.
