Security Staff Management Ensures the safety and security of key PGE members by coordinating resources to minimize risks and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Conducts surveys to assess potential threats or hazards that may compromise the safety of officers and the CEO, including physical threats and operational vulnerabilities such as security protocols and emergency response measures. Plans future site visits, organizing logistics for various sites and events to ensure a secure and efficient environment. The planning process will address all aspects related to the physical locality, including the movement of individuals in and out of the site, as well as the site and event surroundings. Additionally, preparation for emergencies and other contingencies will be a key focus. Oversees the secure transportation of key members, including acting as the primary driver. Coordination with internal staff and security contractors will be essential to support security principles. Security Leadership Manages the design and implementation of security and protection practices. Manages incidence response. Ensures collaboration with appropriate state, local and federal authorities. Manages the implementation of process improvements and best practices. Internal and External Relations May represent the company in formal security briefings, deliberations, conferences or negotiations to influence security policies, objectives and regulations so that security systems may be applied to greater advantage. Liaising with law enforcement and external protection details as necessary. Resourcing Oversees resourcing decisions and planning for team; partners with HR in the definition of jobs, recruitment, evaluation and selection processes. Professional Development Reviews organizational development needs and training strategies to determine required learning and development outcomes for the team; provides guidance in the creation of development plans; monitors ongoing progress, provides coaching and mentoring and provides feedback; completes annual performance management reviews. Education Requires a bachelor's degree in business, law enforcement, IT or other related field or equivalent experience. Experience Prefer eight or more years in security, regulatory compliance, or a related field, including at least three years in a leadership role (formal or informal). Must have a law enforcement background with tactical expertise, as well as proficiency in tactical driving. Strong collaboration skills are necessary to effectively coordinate with law enforcement agencies and other security teams.
