Reingold Internship Program

Internships are full-time and in person (40 hours) during the standard workweek and pay an hourly rate of $20. The internship class begins on Thursday, June 4, and runs through Friday, November 20, 2026. Core hours during the internship are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. This internship requires five in-office days (Monday - Friday) at our office in Alexandria, Virginia.

What It Means to Be a MarketingAutomationIntern

As a Marketing Automation Intern, you will support the development, execution, and optimization of automated marketing programs that improve efficiency, personalize customer experiences, and drive measurable results. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and data engineering -roughly halfof the work involves hands-on coding, data wrangling, and technical problem-solving.You'llwrite SQL to build and audit audiences, use Python (often with AI-assisted tools like Cursor) to automate workflows, and work across platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, GCP, and Databricks as our data infrastructure grows.

Working closely with creative, digital, and account teams, you will help bring automated campaigns to life, apply industry best practices, and contribute fresh ideas in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

This isa great opportunityfor an organized, analytical, and detail-oriented marketer who wants to buildexpertisein marketing automation, strengthen their technical and strategic skills, and see the direct impact of their work on campaign performance and customer engagement.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• WriteSQL queriesto build targeted audience segments, audit data extensions, andmaintaindata quality standards across CRM and activation platforms.
• UsePython(leveragingAI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor) to automate repetitive marketing workflows, data transformations, and reporting pipelines.
• Support data field mapping fromSalesforce Data Cloudto activation platforms (SFMC/Adobe), ensuringaccurateidentity resolution and personalization.
• Assistin exploring and operationalizingGCP and Databricksintegrations as the team expands its data infrastructure and pipeline capabilities.
• Build responsive email templates and perform QA to verify dynamic content, UTM tracking, and brand standards across all devices.
• Pull engagement metrics to update performance dashboards and document automated journey flows using tools likeLucidchartor Miro.

A Reingold intern must:

• Possess abachelor'sdegree, preferably inmarketing or communications.
• Communicate clearly andprofessionally, bothorallyand in writing.
• Build and followtimelines andmeet tight deadlines.
• Possess a collaborative,team-player attitude.
• Be eager to learn by doingand take initiative.
• Be able to receive and incorporate peer feedback.
• Proficiencyin SQL - comfortable writing queries independently, not just reading them.
• Some experience with Python, particularly for data manipulation or automation tasks; familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.) a plus.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (GCP, Databricks, or similar) preferred but notrequired.

Work environment and physical requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
