Nurse

Location: Gardner, MA - Northeast Corrections Center. Institution Medication for Opioid Use Disorder Program

Schedule: Per Diem. 5:00am-1:00pm. Every other Monday and Thursday plus Rotating weekends Saturday- Sunday included.

Pay rate: $38.00-$44.00/hour. Weekend differential $10.00/ hour.

The Nurse is responsible for:

• Administering medication to incarcerated patients who are enrolled in the Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Program
• Triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder
• Control, counting and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation.
• Successful completion of 40 Hour Department of Correction New Employee Training

Qualifications:

• Valid MA nursing license from accredited school required, LPN or RN
• Must have current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.
• DOC experience preferred
• Travel to multiple Northern region MOUD sites
