Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related coaching experience

Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a coach, support staff, or student-athlete in a Division I women's basketball program.
Position Summary
The Associate Head Women's Basketball Coach is responsible for providing assistance to the Head Coach in assigned areas of the intercollegiate women's basketball program.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Coaching experience with a Division I basketball program. Ability to organize and assist in all phases of a NCAA Division I women's basketball program. Ability to evaluate and recruit, qualified student athletes to the University of Georgia whose athletic and personal skills make them highly competitive in the SEC and nationally, and whose academic potential makes them good candidates for a meaningful academic experience and graduation at the University of Georgia. Comprehend and adhere to NCAA, SEC and institutional policies and procedures in the sport of women's basketball; Participate and support public relations, fundraising and promotional activities; possess good organizational skills.
Physical Demands
Regularly stand; walk; use hands and reach with arms. Occasionally sit and talk or hear. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision which includes close and distance vision, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but escalates to high during practice and athletic competitions.

Assist in the planning and designing of a yearly training program; assisting in the planning and designing of specific strength and conditioning sessions for student-athletes in cooperation with the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and Head Coach.
