Job Description

The Performance Product Planner is responsible for the ideation, planning, pricing, and lifecycle management of SRT Direct Connection Performance components supporting current and future vehicle programs. This role develops performance products, packages, and upfit solutions that enhance vehicle performance, enable customer personalization, and strengthen Direct Connection's competitive position as the ONLY source for Stellantis performance offerings. The planner works cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, and Product Planning teams to ensure the performance portfolio aligns with vehicle program milestones and broader portfolio strategies.

Insights from competitive benchmarking are translated into actionable portfolio plans, including licensing partnerships, affiliated supplier partnerships, and engineering-driven inhouse product opportunities. The role requires strong analytical and financial acumen, including development of business cases, pricing strategies, and margin models to support new accessory programs and portfolio expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Portfolio Strategy

  • Develop and manage the performance product roadmap for all STLA vehicles

  • Identify opportunities to expand the portfolio through new product development, supplier partnerships, and affiliated accessory programs

  • Align performance development plans with vehicle program timing to ensure readiness at vehicle launch and throughout the vehicle lifecycle

Competitive Benchmarking & Market Gap Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive benchmarking of OEM competitor offerings and key aftermarket brands

  • Evaluate competitor vehicle configurators, trim strategies, factory-installed performance packages and dealer-installed option programs

  • Monitor aftermarket trends, emerging technologies, and customers habits to drive future portfolio opportunities
