As an OEM division plays a key role in advancing technology, pushing boundaries, and fueling passion across a range of performance and racing disciplines. We are seeking a highly motivated Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and optimization of performance technologies across our motorsport's programs. This role bridges engineering development, validation, and releasing support to deliver competitive performance on and off the track parts. As the Direct Connection Engineering Specialist, you will play a crucial role in applying advanced engineering principles to create and optimize high-performance engines. This involves a deep understanding of powertrains, specifically high-performance gasoline engines to ensure peak performance, reliability, and competitiveness. Responsibilities include analyzing performance data and collaborating with broader engineering teams to develop and implement technical solutions, utilizing simulation tools and testing to validate performance. As well as ongoing product support: Product updates after launch (hardware and software), CAD, BOM and Change Notice (WebCN) management, engineering systems updates (MPMS, JTETSO, TeamCenter, CoDeP...etc.).



Key Responsibilities:



  • Support development and integration of race-specific components, systems, and setups.
  • Perform data acquisition and analysis from test sessions
  • Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams (design, calibration, electronics, manufacturing and suppliers) to ensure component and system readiness.
  • Conduct engine and vehicle dynamometer testing to validate recommend performance.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, findings, and performance metrics.
  • Liaise with suppliers and technical partners to ensure alignment of specifications and goals.
  • Provide technical specification support for marketing and communications.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of powertrain systems, and race engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g., MoTeC, AIM..ect)
  • Experience with simulation software and dynamometer testing (e.g., SolidWorks, MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong passion for performance vehicles with automotive technical knowledge
  • Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and G Suite
  • Ability to develop and present strategic / tactical plans at senior management level
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional organization, build partnerships, and share knowledge
  • Highly organized, motivated and outgoing individual



Preferred Qualifications:



  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in powertrain or high-performance automotive engineering.
  • Familiarity with ECU programming, CAN systems, and control strategies.
  • Detailed knowledge of SRT and competitive performance vehicles and a passion for motorsports
