Role Summary

The Research Associate (RA) position supports the HTA, Value & Evidence (HV&E) Thoracic & Precision Medicine Oncology team within Client's Global Access & Value (GAV) organization. HV&E serves as Client's Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) function, and the RA will report to a member of the HV&E team. In this role, the RA will contribute to the development and execution of key deliverables for the thoracic cancer and precision medicine franchise. Responsibilities include providing technical support, conducting analyses, and preparing reports for assets across various stages of the development pipeline.

Role Responsibilities

The RA will be responsible for supporting the following activities:

HEOR / Real-World Evidence Support

  • Planning, conducting, and project management of HEOR or real-world data studies.
  • Executing database analyses using administrative claims or electronic medical records databases.
  • Supporting observational research, including prospective studies, chart reviews, and other methodologies.


Clinical Trial & Evidence Generation Support

  • Supporting the development of patient-reported outcomes strategies in clinical trials.
  • Conducting literature reviews and evidence synthesis.
  • Supporting cost-effectiveness analyses and economic modeling.


Documentation & Reporting

  • Developing presentations and reports using PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Supporting project and vendor management, including budget management.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Working with cross-functional asset teams.
  • Supporting team initiatives, including management of internal portals and SharePoint sites.



Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in health services research, health policy, pharmacy, public health, epidemiology, health economics, or an equivalent graduate field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant post-graduate professional experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with complex processes, significant budgets, competing deadlines, and shifting priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and respond to multiple internal and external stakeholders.
