About The Role

Western Security Bank is seeking a Treasury Operations Manager. The Treasury Operations Manager plays a strategic and hands-on role in leading the development, implementation, and support of both new and existing electronic banking and treasury management services. This position is responsible for driving innovation in treasury offerings, expanding client relationships, and promoting the full suite of electronic banking and treasury management (TM) products and services.

In this role, the Treasury Operations Manager will foster strong partnerships-both new and existing-while collaborating closely with all banking departments to support business development initiatives. A key focus is on relationship banking to ensure long-term profitability and client satisfaction.

The role involves significant interaction with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, often requiring on-site visits to client locations. As a representative of the bank, the Treasury Operations Manager must consistently demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service that reflects the institution's values and enhances its reputation.

A high degree of self-direction is essential, as the manager will be responsible for designing and executing programs, leading support teams, and delivering product training to a wide range of employees and clients. The role also includes providing expert guidance and support to cross-functional teams, helping them align with departmental goals and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, the Treasury Operations Manager will serve as a key liaison across departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and a strong focus on customer service throughout all interactions.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

TECHNICAL & MANAGERIAL:
* Lead, mentor, and develop the Treasury Support team to ensure operational excellence and consistent service delivery.
* Promote a culture of professionalism and exceptional customer service through coaching, training, and personal example, ensuring high-quality support for both internal and external clients.
* Implement and support new treasury management products and services, ensuring smooth rollouts and adoption.
* Develop, maintain, and manage employee and customer training materials related to treasury management services.
* Ensure treasury products and services are set up accurately and in compliance with bank policies, procedures, and product service agreements.
* Serve as the Bank's subject matter expert for all treasury management products and services, providing advanced technical support and guidance.
* Respond to inquiries and resolve complex operational, technical, and depository-related issues.
* Review and underwrite applications for treasury products, exercising approval authority as assigned.
* Maintain strict confidentiality of customer financial information in accordance with bank policy and regulatory standards.
* Ensure Annual Reviews are completed timely, and all required documentation is obtained and properly maintained.
* Support the growth and profitability of the treasury management portfolio by assisting in business development efforts and expanding existing client relationships.
* Conduct treasury product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and bank staff.
* Ensure accurate recordkeeping and the implementation of appropriate safeguards and retention systems.
* Oversee staff training and ensure adherence to established security procedures and internal controls.
* Maintain, update, and communicate treasury management policies and procedures, ensuring ongoing compliance and staff awareness.
* Manage Debit and Credit Card Merchant Processing services.
* Partner with the Marketing Department to plan, coordinate, and oversee treasury-related advertising and promotional initiatives.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS:
* Collaborate closely with Branch Managers, Lending Managers, and other bank personnel to ensure full compliance with established treasury policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Uphold and model Western Security Bank's Mission, Vision, and Service Standards in all interactions and business activities.
* Deliver superior internal and external customer service by demonstrating strong self-governance, professionalism, courtesy, and respect.
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all treasury management products and services to effectively support customers and bank staff.
* Communicate product features, service requests, and solution recommendations clearly and effectively to ensure customer understanding.
* Consistently apply a "customer-first" approach when prioritizing responsibilities and resolving issues.
* Build and maintain professional, courteous, and service-oriented relationships with all internal and external customers.

MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES:
* Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
* Complete required bank and OnCourse training courses within assigned time frame(s).
* Represent Western Security Bank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive "can-do" attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.
* Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy.
* Attend and participate in meetings as required.
* Additional duties as requested or assigned.


About You

A minimum of five years of financial services or banking experience, with a proven track record of acquiring, managing, and growing client relationships required.

Previous e-banking or Treasury Management experience preferred.

Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position. We offer an extensive benefits package that includes, but is not limited to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. PTO accruals begin at .0745 per hour worked for our part time employees up to a maximum accrual of 240 hours per year for certain Full-Time employees. PTO accruals are dependent on position, status (Full time or Part time), and years of experience in accordance with our PTO policy. Most Full-Time employees are also offered 6 paid holidays and Part Time employees are offered pro-rated paid holidays.
