Job Title: Design Engineer II - Electrical & Avionic Department: Design Engineering Reports to: Manager, P21 Electrical & Avionic System Design & Sustaining Direct Reports: 0 Location(s): AWPC __________________________________________________________________________________
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide engineering support to production activities to meet AWPC safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. This position requires good knowledge of the rotorcraft avionic installations as well as the standard aeronautical electrical installation design procedures. Daily duties include, but are not limited to, supporting assembly and fabrication of all AWPC helicopter lines, with problem solving in fit/form/function questions and technical issues coordinating the solution within the LH design dept. Design Engineer is also responsible for drafting or review of electrical installations for helicopter customizations and completions, in compliance with EASA and FAA regulations, using the applicable design tools (Capitol Logic - CATIA V4/V5 - SAP - Kisters).
